WEEKEND/ SXSW...

Alisha, and I decided to go to Austin this weekend, and it wasnt until I called a good buddy (Goob), that I remembered that it was the final weekend of SXSW. I checked some schedules, and saw that the if we left early enough the next day we could get to see Andrew WK, and GWAR. I was stoked.

 

So.. We left too late to see Andrew WK, and GWAR, and I was kinda bummed.. we couldnt get a hotel in Austin so we stayed in Round Rock, jsut outside of Austin. We ordered a pizza from Promise Pizza's to our hotel they are the only pizza place in TX to serve a vegan Daiya Cheese pizza.. spectacular..

 

We called a cab to get us into downtown, and after waiting for an hour, and a half, decided to drive out ourselves. We met up with Goob, and a couple of his friends, and after searching for something  to do for a couple more hours. I saw on Twitter that Dallas's own, The Ramonahs (all drag Ramones tribute band fronted by Oliver Peck) was playing right down the street. On the way I ran into Beau Bridges. We had a great time watching The Ramonahs, lots of Dallas buds showed up..  lots of fun.

 

Sunday.. Alisha and I hung out on the overly crowded Congress street, did a little shoppin, and saw Val Kilmer (whom is fat as a cow) eating out on the street at a Mexican restaurant. BATMAN DUDE..!!!

 

overall.. good times. lots of fun.
